Using radio-frequency technology, the Smart Door pulls the unique signal from you pooch's collar-key to open the battery powered door without a touch. Once the key's signal is no longer in range, the door shuts nicely behind them, locking in place.
This is a very effective strategy for keeping raccoons, skunks and other pesky animals out. The door cannot be pushed open in either direction but is controlled only through the programmable Smart Key.
Up to five pets with five programmable keys, the Smart Dog Door can also function in a fully locked or unlocked mode.
