They stand behind the durability of their Endura pet flap with a 15-year warrantyagainst failure (excluding damage from chewing). Damage caused by accident, improper installation, abuse or normal wear, including damage by pets or glass breakage, is specifically excluded from this warranty. Defective material returned to Patio Pacific Inc, together with proof of purchase, will be repaired or replaced and returned to the customer free of charge.

Rainwater in the Tunnel  The single flap version has a high threshold on the inside and no barrier to the outside. Wind-driven rain will surely enter the tunnel but quickly run out toward the outside. The double flap version allows very little water to penetrate on either side. 

Insulation As with all "wall mount" dog doors, caulking is essential toward preventing water penetration inside your walls.
